I fell into this career path like a great majority of pelvic health physiotherapists, by experiencing problems that require its help. Maybe it was my inquisitive mind, maybe is was pure desperation, but I thought – “there must be something that can be done about this.” There was.
By taking the courses required and getting into practice, I have never in my previous ten years of being a physiotherapist, been so captivated and inspired to help my clients, to strive to be more, and to learn more.
My mission is to start the conversation about pelvic issues, and to bring those “taboo” topics out of the dark, so that everyone can live their best life.
I graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. I loved Ottawa. I still love it and return as often as I can. I think I left a little part of me there. But I came back to the Sudbury area because of my strong family bonds.
I started my Pelvic Health education through Pelvic Health Solutions in 2011 under the great minds and great personalities that are Carolyn VanDyken and Nelly Faghani, and many more along the way as I continued my journey.
